Commissioned in 2001 by Seika Girls High School, this is fanfare based upon the notes S (Eb)-E-A, letters derived from the school name gSeikah. Trumpets, then woodwinds present a most positive, compelling melody. When used as a concert or post-intermission opener it is effective to feature an antiphonal trumpet trio. This piece is very suitable for large bands.
