Here is a new arrangement of the immortal song, When The Saints Go Marchin' In! The song starts with much fanfare, and then it moves to beautiful chorale of a ballade. You can also enjoy funky rhythm at a little quick tempo and transitions.
Arranger: Masanori Taruya
Taruya graduated from Musashino Academia Musica as a composition major, studying under Hiroshi Sato and Yoshiki Miyamoto. Since graduation, he has directed wind bands in addition to composing and arranging.
His CD titled “Picture Book without Pictures”, performed by TOKE CIVIC Wind Orchestra, Hiroyuki Kayo Conductor, released by CAFUA Records, includes the work “Picture Book without Pictures”. The titles are published by Broad Publishers.
Other works for wind band include “Liberty Guiding the People”, “Magellan's Voyage to Unknown Continent”, “Stabat mater Dolorosa”, “Raising of Lazarus”, “Le Petit Prince”, “Endymion Asleep” as well as many compositions for chamber winds and ensembles.
