  This march was written thinking of bright and pleasant images like the scenery of Lake Biwa on a fine day, and expresses not only a peaceful mood but also some optimistic energy.
It begins with a brilliant trumpet fanfare that develops briefly, after which the first theme slightly mellows the sound field. In the middle section, woodwinds sing quietly as the melody line builds and adds texture. With the addition of some capricious passages, brasses again dominate and the large goptimistich melody sings toward a bright concluding fanfare.
