The 13th edition of the long standing CD series, NEW WIND REPERTOIRE, is a bit different from the previous editions!
It is filled with new pieces in a variety of grades.
DE BELLO GALLICO is a dramatic song based on Commentarii de Bello Gallico, which was written by Julius Caesar in Roman times. You can imagine the magnificent story while listening to this recording. Osaka Municipal Symphonic Band commissioned Hayato Hirose to write ARCADIA, which describes a long journey of a young boy. In Kumiko Tanaka's L'ARC-EN-CIEL, the frequent changes in the melody and the key represent a rainbow of sounds.
This CD includes valuable songs for music selections and for joy of listening.
